Robert Schnurmacher
Robert Schnurmacher began mastering illustration and graphic design desktop publishing applications at the age of 15. Working for his father, himself a graphic designer, while still in high school, Robert published print projects for small businesses throughout South Florida. Robert pursued his passion for design by mastering all types of software for graphic design, illustration, photo-editing, animation, video/audio/media editing and more.
After graduating University of Florida in 1993, Robert landed in New York City at Emerald City Media Services, a media production studio whose clientele included MTV, ESPN, NBA Entertainment, NBC and more. In Robert's 6 year tenure at Emerald City, he became Senior Vice President of Interactive. His responsibilities there included the direction of all technical and creative services, the networking and maintenance of EC's 15,000 square foot production studio, and all computer-related support for over 60 employees.
Also while at Emerald City, Robert was thrust into the explosion of the world-wide-web and the need for interactive web sites. He led numerous web projects of up to 30 people in the development of several cutting-edge applications. With the success Robert was enjoying, it was apparent that he had the talent to truly be his own boss and the experience to deliver the quality and results that New York clients expect. So along with his brother Jeffrey, he opened Equivox, a web development studio in New York City in 1999.
Since then, Equivox has developed and deployed over 200 commercial web sites that are currently online today.
Jeffrey Schnurmacher
Jeffrey Schnurmacher has been developing professional, industry-standard software applications and websites for the past 20 years. During this time Jeffrey has worked and consulted with major fortune 500 companies such as CIGNA Insurance, Microsoft, Wolters Kluwer and VNU. Jeffrey has managed large scale software teams of developers for major software and website application initiatives. Jeffrey is well versed in today's major technologies such as Microsoft .NET, SQL Server technologies, Java, PHP and a host of other technical tools and languages.
Jeffrey received his BA from Bradeis University in 1987 and his Masters in Computer Science from Columbia Unviversity in 2004.
