Overview/History
Equivox was founded in 1999 in New York City by Robert and Jeffrey Schnurmacher. With the explosion of the Internet in the mid 1990's both brothers led a natural progression from their beginnings as Graphic Artist and Computer Programmer, respectively. Jeffrey Schnurmacher began computer programming in 1985, while in college at Brandeis University. Around the same time, Robert Schnurmacher was mastering computer illustration software on some of the first desktop PCs to hit the consumer market.
After over 15 years of education and work experience in their various fields, they landed together at Emerald City Media Services in New York City in 1995. Jeffrey and Robert were responsible for the production of numerous ground-breaking web sites featuring database-driven applications, streaming video and other cutting-edge technologies. After building so many successful projects, they decided to open their own studio in Manhattan.
Today, Equivox is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and has a staff of programmers, graphic artists, internet marketing specialists, and webmaster technicians. Keeping our clients' goals first, we take the attitude that with our resources and experience, there is nothing that cannot be accomplished.
